Color Club Poptastic 2014 Collection - swatches

Hello, long time no blog! Sorry about that, I had some computer problems for a little while, but it's all fixed now! :)

If you follow me on Instagram (@madmaewest) you may have seen me post about this amazing deal I just got: I found a set of polishes, which looked exactly like the Color Club Poptastic 2014 collection (the 6 shimmery neon shades), plus a clear polish for only 9.99$CAD at Winners. Holly Crap! That's like 1,43$CAD a bottle!!!! Normally, Color Club is around 8 -10$CAD a bottle around here, so when I saw these for so cheap, I just couldn't believe it and grabbed them right away! Now, these are not labelled, so I wasn't 100% sure at first that they were really part of the Poptastic 2014. But, with the help of Katie @ Total Polish Junkie and Phoebe @ Glimpses of the moon, who both own the official collection and thought these really look similar, and after watching and reading lots of reviews, I'm pretty sure that these are the real deal people! So let's get to the swatches! :D

All of these polishes have an amazing formula for neons.They are a little thick but nothing unmanageable. They were really opaque, I did two coats for each polish. I did not use topcoat.

Not-So-Mellow Yellow

A beautilful yellow with green undertones and a yellow/gold shimmer. This one was a little bit streaky and was harder to work with than the others, but still managed to cover the nail in two somewhat easy coats. Not so bad for a neon yellow! 

Foxy Mama

A beautilful orange with golden shimmer! I love it so much!

Peace, Love and Polish

Pretty pinkish coral with, again, that fantastic golden shimmer! *drool*

Kapow!

This one I wasn't expecting to love that much but it suprised me! It's a gorgeous neon pink with purple/blue shimmer.

Right On

Awww this one is my favorite, so gorgeous! Beautiful fushia with purple shimmer. This picture doesn't do it justice, the shimmer is more visible in person.

Bell Bottom Babe

And finally the most unique shade in the collection IMO, even though it's not really a neon. And don't be fooled by this picture! It somehow turned into a vibrant cobalt when I uploaded it, grrr! It's actually more of a dusty purple/blue with strong pink/fushia shimmer. You should check Phoebe's swatch of this, it's more accurate then mine! lol

So, overall, I'm so glad I stumbled on these at Winners because they are fantastic!
